Grace Lutheran Church

Chapter 8

Kids & Teens

This is the place to learn about opportunities for kids and teens to grow in faith and fellowship at Grace!

In addition to Sunday School classes for youth from pre-K to high school, we have three fellowship groups dedicated to our disciples-in-training:

LYF: Lutheran Youth Fellowship is the group for those in high school.

This group of 9th through 12th graders plans fun activities together, travels to youth conventions and gatherings together, and serves the community and Grace with special projects. Want to join the fun? Call David or Karen Hempel (361-576-4056).

Join us and get swept up with the great articles on everything from our life of prayer to current events in the news; from the Daily Reflections to life issues; from movie and music reviews to catechesis that truly dares to be Lutheran. Designed for youth.

JYL: Junior Youth League is for all those in middle school.

This group is for 6th through 8th graders who like to have fun. This group is looking for a new leader who can plan fun activities like hayrides and weiner roasts.

Contact Tammy Weiser at the church office (361-573-2232) to volunteer.

KIC: Kids in Christ is for the elementary school age group.

This group is for kids in first through fifth grades. Fun activities are planned for the kids and their parents. Parents can contact Layne or Mary Beth Fuller (361-579-6535) to get involved.
