Lay Reader
Are you comfortable being up in the front of the church? Lay readers
assist in the worship service by reading scripture lessons from the
lecturn for worship services. Would you like to proclaim God’s Word?

Nursery Attendant
Sometimes those precious little infants and toddlers need a place to
play or nap during the worship service or Sunday school and a loving
attendant to care for them. If you enjoy lots of hugs and sweet smiles –
this is the place for you to serve. Call Dotty Koetter (578-5023).
Ushers
Do you like to greet people and make them feel right at home? Grace
ushers hand out bulletins, welcome worshippers, take offering and lock
up the building after services. Ushers are always needed and
appreciated. Talk to Mack McKenzie (277-4744) or Chuck Mueller
(564-2068) or call the volunteer coordinator if you would like to serve.
Chair Crew
Got muscle? A chair crew needs you! You can help move and/or rearrange
chairs in the worship center for special events or for floor cleaning –
and yes, put them back again. Call Tammy at the church office (573-2232)
or Marj Wilhelmsen, volunteer coordinator (648-9373)
Card and Pencil Crew
You know those little pockets on the
backs of the chairs in the worship center? Well, somebody has to keep
those pockets full of cards, envelopes and sharpened pencils. Want to
help? Call Tammy or Marj.
Banner Making
Do you like really big arts and crafts
projects; handy with scissors and glue? Banner making is the place for
you! This committee serves on an “as needed” basis. If you would like to
help make those beautiful banners, contact Tammy in the church office –
she heads up this committee.
Altar Guild
This special group of ladies attends to the altar area making sure the
altar cloths, candles and communion ware are cared for and prepared for
worship services, and that the altar area is clean and tidy. Attention
to detail is a plus. Want to help? Call Terry Tucker at 573-3482.
