New Sunday Morning Class for Adults
Beginning Sunday, April 26
Pastor Chris will teach a class entitled
"What's The Point."
It will be a study of the book of
Ecclesiastes.
The book of Ecclesiastes is to
say the least unique in the Scripture.
It is written from the perspective of a skeptic.
The book asks pointed questions about the meanings of things and
ultimately of life itself.
Some of the things we will explore will be the meaning of work,
pleasure, justice, knowledge, worship, unwelcome events, unfairness,
aging and death. We will
also explore what the book affirms about God.
If you, like many, sometimes struggle for meaning in life then
this is a good class for you.
The class will be formatted to promote maximum group discussion
and reflection.
